Meet Our Assistants!

We are so grateful for all of our assistant teachers! These BritZa dancers help out in younger classes throughout the week, and we appreciate their encouragement, energy, and love for dance that they share with their classes!

Miss Claire

Grade & Classes: I am a Sophomore, and I take Advanced Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, and 7th-12th Hip Hop.
Classes I Assist With: Mini Movers, Tiny Tots, 1st/2nd Jazz, 2nd Ballet, 5th/6th Lyrical, 5th/6th Jazz
Favorite Part of Assisting: My favorite part of assisting is doing the fun dances! Especially the freeze dance :)
Fun Fact: I have a little yorkie named Tillie!

Miss Madeline

Grade & Classes: I am a sophomore, and I take Advanced Tap, Advanced Lyrical Advanced Jazz, and 7th-12th Hip Hop.
Classes I Assist With: Tip Tap Toes, 1st/2nd Tap, 3rd/4th Tap, and 5th/6th Tap
Favorite Part of Assisting:
Getting to watch everyone perform at the recital and see how much they have grown.
Fun Fact: I’ve played the violin for 6 years.

Miss Selah

Grade & Classes: I am in 8th grade, and I take Advanced Ballet, Contemporary, and 7th-12th Hip Hop.
Classes I Assist With: Tippy Toes Ballet, Kindergarten Ballet, 4th Ballet, and 5th/6th Hip Hop
Favorite Part of Assisting: I love the hugs and sweet stories.
Fun Fact: I swam with sea turtles in Maui!

Miss Keira

Grade & Classes: I am in 8th grade and take Advanced Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary.
Classes I Assist With: Babes Ballet/Tap, 3rd Ballet, 3rd/4th Jazz, and 3rd/4th Hip Hop. Favorite Part of Assisting: Seeing dancers try a new, challenging move and then watching them do it and learn they can do hard things.
Fun Fact: I don't like breakfast foods (besides muffins 😉), so I often eat dinner leftovers for breakfast.

Miss Joslyn

Grade & Classes: I am in 8th grade, and I take 7th-12th Musical Theatre, 7th-9th Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, and Jazz.
Classes I Assist With: 1st Ballet, 5th Ballet
Favorite Part of Assisting: My favorite part is being a part of the BritZa team and helping younger dancers find their joy in dance! 
Fun Fact: I never missed a day of school for 3 straight years. 

Miss Calli

Grade & Classes: I am a freshman, and I take 7th-12th Musical Theatre, Advanced Tap and Lyrical.
Classes I Assist With: Kindergarten Tap, 1st/2nd Musical Theatre, and 3rd/4th Musical Theatre.
Favorite Part of Assisting: My favorite part of assisting is getting to know all the kids!
Fun Fact: I've been dancing at BritZa since I was 3 years old!
